Overview

This program is specially designed for university lecturers who are teaching Takaful subjects in the English language. It introduces participants to shariah, legal, regulatory and technical knowledge resources relevant to Takaful as well as additional instructive resources that can be used to develop educational aids.

It also educates participants on the legal, technical and accounting aspects of Takaful that is not commonly available or understood due to the nature of Takaful. These are presented that would be easily understood even if participants do not have the necessary mathematical or accounting background. Last but not least, it discusses selected shariah issues in the Takaful industry.
